Sweet Pea Rosa offers a range of floristry workshops, from introductory classes, giving you the essential skills to confidently undertake your own beautiful bouquet or table centre. Through to fun group classes which are ideal for hen parties.
Sweet Pea Rosa also offers bespoke private one to one master classes tailored to an individual, ideal for someone looking to branch out into floristry, and gain an in depth knowledge about floral design. Or if you are a bride, who would like to style your own wedding flowers.
The Ultimate Floral Day - One to One Workshop
Come and join me at the studio in Leytonstone, where you will spend your day learning all about floristry, and how to create wonderful floral designs.
I will share my floral knowledge with you, covering everything, from conditioning and caring for cut flowers, to putting together bouquets and low table arrangements. Focusing on shape, colour and style when creating floral works. As well as how to work environmentally consciously.
What the day entails;
10am - introduction to flowers, essential equipment, how to care for cut flowers to keep them fresh for as long as possible.
11am - making hand tied bouquets, learning about different techniques. And how to wrap and present them beautifully.
12.30pm - Lunch, this will be provided. We can cater for all dietary requirements, as long as I know in advance.
1.30pm - making low vase arrangements, ideal for tables.
3pm - Taking photos, we will take advantage of the studio space and get some lovely shots of your floral creations!
The day can be tailored to your own requirements, depending on what you would like to get out of it. If you are already confident with making bouquets, but would like to master installations, or working without floral foam, we can focus on this instead.
